Save the Children

Founded in 1919, The Save the Children Fund- commonly known as 'Save the Children', was established to support children in developing nations by promting children's rights and providing relief. Beginning in the UK it now has 30 other nations helping the cause.

 

Save the Children is an international, non-governmental organisation  that was able to reach 143 million children in 2013 alone.

Their motto "We save children’s lives. We fight for their rights. We help them fulfill their potential." encaptures  how the foundation inspires the world to make a lasting change in childrens's lives.

 

Donations to the cause can change lives of many children and families, $10 can simply help 8 children receive life-saving treatment from diarrhoea, whereas $200 can provide a household kit for a family of 6.
